On May 5, President Trump signed the Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 Consolidated Appropriations Act. This legislation funded the federal government through September 30, 2017. President Trump released the full version of the FY 2018 budget request on May 23. Congress is now in process of considering the appropriations for FY 2018.
