Hosting an Annual Conference

Departments wishing to host an annual Missouri Valley Division conference usually coordinate their efforts through their Chamber of Commerce, other city groups and the Missouri Valley Division Director. A department wishing to host an annual conference should submit their bid to the Board of Directors of the Missouri Valley Division two years ahead of the conference. Cities wishing to host a conference should fill out the conference application form and submit the bid document (see RFP below) not later than May 1, two years prior to the conference they wish to hold.

The annual Missouri Valley Division conference is always held the second week of July on a Thursday and Friday, and attendance runs between 80-140 people.

If any department wishes to host a conference, they should review the conference bid documents (see RFP below) or contact their State Director or the Secretary of the Missouri Valley Division.
